SCHNAYDERMAN'S 2021 SPRING SUMMER
SCHNAYDERMA'S, meaning Tailor in Swedish, was founded in 2012 by designers Joel Urwitz and Victor Press based in Stockholm and New York. SCHNAYDERMAN'S, which began with an ambition to create durable and stylish shirts that can be worn through generations, is expressed as a modern and comfortable shirt with bold patterns and technology.
This season, SCHNAYDERMAN'S is a collection inspired by the concept of “Identity”, and through collaborations with artists in various fields, the breadth of the concept is further explored.
The images of photographers such as Martina Bacigalupo and Romain Sellier gave a variety of inspiration for identity, and the constraints posed by Covid-19 encouraged a variety of collaborations with talented artists involved with SCHNAYDERMAN'S. SCHNAYDERMAN'S has teamed up with the new illustrator Julia De Rubo, a famous graphic artist Christian Altman, who has studied art and prints with a unique perspective, from passport graphics to illustrations.
In addition, through a partnership with Swedish jewelry brand Kultur 5, we have created silver accessories that enhance the theme of the collection. As a result, the collection is richer, more well-assembled, and a mixture of different interpretations.
This season, the colors are faded and natural, poplin blowing in the wind and airy silhouettes. In addition, linen and washed cotton, which may seem rather tacky, contrast with fabric viscose, tencel, and garment dyes, giving the collection a wide range of feel and depth.
